Taking good Night Photographs - Night Digital Photography
It is relatively hard to take good night photos. No matter how steady your hands are, it is always good to have a mini tripod
around when taking nice shots. Depending on the sensitivity of your camera, a slight jerk or shake would render your picture blur. You may need
to do some manual adjustments on the focus and exposure to avoid dark or overexposed pictures.
An example is below:


If you compare the 2 photographs carefully, you would realise that the first photograph is much clearer than the second. This is due to the
slight shake while using the camera in night mode.
The amount of light and the ISO setting of the camera also plays a part in the final photograph. The higher the ISO, the more pixeled the
photograph will be.
Try not to use strong flash as it will 'suck' the light from the surrounding and makes the object in the picture looks bright while the
background looks dull.
